Winchester House Hire Charges
Hire charges do vary and are largely determined by the time of year, day of the week, number of guests and the duration of the event. As a guide, the hire charge on a Saturday during the summer for an event finishing at 11pm will be £1,875. Conversely, the same kind of event taking place on a weekday in February is unlikely to attract a hire charge in excess of £500.

Additional charges for hire after 11pm are as follows:-

These too, are influenced by variable factors and accurate quotations can only be prepared after having first ascertained certain specific information. These details will need to specify the type of event (ie. whether formal sit-down or informal buffet), guest numbers and their timings, the actual choice of menu and so on. The prices below are a guide as to the likely price range in each of the stated categories. For the purposes of these illustrations, the price ranges have been based on 100 guests.
* Please note - the prices are inclusive of staffing for the event, china, cutlery, bar equipment, glasses and linen. The number of hours stated is the total duration of the event, ie. that determined by the Guests' scheduled arrival/departure times.
